They are made with Yuzen washi (traditional Japanese paper) from Kyoto. This high-quality paper is made of long thick fibers from the mulberry tree giving it strength and durability. The intricate and beautiful pattern designs are based on traditional Kimono fabric. Each sheet of paper is silk-screened by hand one color at a time with pigment-based ink making them vibrant and fade-resistant. Hand folded in the USA, complete with a tiny sparkle charm dangle.
